Great job, Sarah!

It's challenging to make as many changes at once as you've done. I wouldn't expect any changes until your bowel movements are much closer to what you know now is "normal".

Better out than in!

Looking forward to more good news in the future.

Follow up:

Some gradual changes ive been making. Ive been trying to stay off junk food, processed food, refined, or anything that isnt "natural" but its taking a while to adjust especially since im underweight. Mostly ive been on fruits, a veggie smoothie with a veggie/fruiit powder, almond and nuts, whole grains, etc and taking supplements like Zinc (50mg), Chrolophyll (100mg  2 a day), 200B renewlife Probiotics (which then i plan to follow with the 80B ones and so on) and some pills for my gastritis. Ive also trying to drink more than 8 cups of water (sometimes i put some lemon in) a day but sometimes the clock goes by so fast i only get down to 4 or 6. And Ive been running (1.5-2.0) miles 3x a week, ive found that i only sweat when im nervous or running so there we go.

I havent noticed a change in odor, if anything i ate fish on monday and beans on tuesday and the odor seemed to be worse by wednesday. Im also using a natural deodorant (TOMS) and milk of magnesia or tea tree oil as a deodorant.

I must say i am still very stressed that time goes by so fast but im still a work in progress. My bowel movements are slightly better, ive been having one elimination daily for the past 3 days, i would not call it "healthy" because they seem thin and long but i suppose something is something. Also, even tho im on this "healthy" diet i notice a lot of gas, im still bloated, and akward pain in the upper stomach at night. I guess its probably indigestion. I will buy some enzymes today.

Oh forgot to tell you, i will be enrolling at the gym soon so i can use the sauna. Hopefully all this will be over and then ill be able to recuperate the weight ill be losing.

Well just wantd to let you know my progress and if you can comment on my procedures ill be so happy to hear what you have to say.

Sarah,

The normal blender is fine.

I personally would not drink Dasani water. http://www.naturalnews.com/001028.html

CandiGone would not be a problem for a person without Candida. Many people do the program regularly just to be sure their systems are balanced. If you're seeing a practitioner, you need to listen to what they are suggesting first.

Unfortunately, traditionally trained gastroenterologists many times don't recognize issues caused by Candida. However, since this doctor certainly knows your history and has examined you, he/she may be correct. At some point perhaps your Doctor will run a Comprehensive Stool Analysis to really see what's happening regarding your gut flora balance.

Sarah, this is an email forum. Do not confuse this with medical advice of any type. The suggestions you were given were offered to be helpful. Please interact with your doctor and make your decisions with that professional. Thanks for your confidence, but email will never take the place of face to face examination and testing. Nor would you want it to. Good luck on your endoscopic exam.

Dear Brenda,

your assistant Jemma send me an email saying that you told her to get in contact with me because she emailed a really good doctor and she send me this tips to follow :

  • n the short run I would tell her she needs to be eat lots of organic vegetables (much of which can be in a smoothie)  you need a Vitamix or Blendtech, and you can sweeten with stevia or perhaps purchase some Greens First from a practitioner. It is organic green veg. powders and stevia that really make a bitter veg smoothie taste good.
  • Need to make sure she is drinking enough water, and taking enough magnesium, might add slow increasing amounts of Mag citrate to Cleansemore to be sure she is having good elimination each day.
  • Would consider colon hydrotherapy.  Lillian Hernandez in Hallandale is quite good.
  • She should begin exercising if not doing so. You might ask how much and what is she doing.
  • Sauna to promote sweating is very important Infrared is best.
  • Needs more probiotics probably our 200B and maybe even add 80B high in Bifidobacteria.
  • Stay off processed grains, could have some millet, quinoa, sprouted buckwheat.
  • If they can afford it, there are a couple of women I know who can teach her how to do an vegan diet at least 80-90%.
  • The only  practitioner I know in  who is regular/wholistic MD that I would consider is Nancy Eckland
  • She probably needs to also be on CandiGone, Intestinew, Fish Oil, digestive enzymes, and certainly extra fiber, and at least 2-3 quarts of high quality water/day.
  • There is a restaurant called Life Gourmet  305-856-6767 in Coral Gables.  Great Food, sells a high quality water cheap, and the owner John Schott maybe very helpful to her.  If she ate mostly his food for a week she may see a difference.

First off, I went ahead and bought the Greens first from Amazon does it matter if i use a normal blender? The vitamix and the other one are too expensive for me. Also, i drink a lot of filtered water and Dasani, is that ok? The doctor also reccomended CandiGone and Intestinew, which should i use first and for how long? If i do not have Candida and take the Candigone will this be a trouble for me?

Again, Im sorry to be such a bother! But i want to do things right.

A follow up on my situation, i went to the gastroenterologist/internal med and he told me it is almost impossible for me tohave candida but that he will test up And for a bacteria called H Pylori or something. I have an endoscopy next week i will let you know of my progress.

Thank you so much and Jemma for all your help.

Dear Sarah,

Here are 2 websites that might help you locate someone near you. http://www.acam.org and http://www.functionalmedicine.org. Another option is to contact Phyllis at EnteroLab – 972-686-6869. She keeps a national database of practitioners who have greater insight into gut issues and is happy to look up someone in your area.

Dear Sarah,

I think it's safe to say that at the very least, you have an overgrowth of candida in your system, from all the years of constipation. Candida changes the pH to more alkaline which is constipating all by itself.

If you'd like to email my assistant at jsinclaire@renewlife.com, she will send you the chapter from my new book on Candidiasis, so you can learn more about it. It will include protocol and dietary recommendations, however, should you be looking for diet do's and don't this minute, check this out – http://blog.brendawatson.com/f…..diet-faqs/.

Glad you started with probiotics! VERY IMPORTANT!

First Cleanse is fine to begin, even before you've made dietary changes. I hope the CleanseMore is helping you at those constipated points, just to keep everything moving.

Dr watson

i have to admit i havent been having a healthy diet and my bowels have stopped. I wanted to ask you if there is anything i should NOT eat before i begin my cleansing and what can i eat during it, which by the way i have decided to buy the First Cleanse to start but i think it will take a few months of cleansing to be healthy again. Would that affect my health in the long run? Also, i have begun taking Renewlife 30 billion Probiotics, Chlorophyllin which i have read is good for cleansing, and i am thinking of Zinc supplement. Any recomendations?

Sarah.

Dear Sarah,

There's no way I could answer that. Sorry I don't have a crystal ball :)

Did you read the article that described the channels of elimination I sent to you? They all need to function properly for good health. Often it's a step-by-step process http://www.renewlife.com/learn…..all-health

You didn't always have the body odor, so logically, something changed 3 years ago. Increasing proper elimination and following cleansing procedures is necessary, body odor or not. It is very unhealthy to go days without having bowel movements, and this has been your history.

Everyone is unique in the way they regain their health. You'll just have to wait and see. I'm sorry I can't be more specific.

Hi Sarah,

As I mentioned, I'm not a doctor. I don't want you think that I'm giving you medical advice, because I'm not. Just wanted to be clear about that.

Congratulations on your initial success!

I'm not sure which product you purchased. I have an Organic Total Body Cleanse, and also a separate Bowel Cleanse.  Either way, please read the instructions on the box and follow them closely. Be sure to drink plenty of water – half your body weight in ounces is a good rule of thumb.

It sounds like you want to start with your "cleaner". Don't take CleanseMore unless your bowels don't move for a day. Then, as on the directions, you would take one at night before bed (continue with your cleansing program). If they still aren't moving, the next night you can take two capsules.

You don't want the CleanseMore to become a regular habit. It is for occasional use.

I created the H.O.P.E. program as the foundation for a healthy intestine for life! - High fiber, Omega oils, Probiotics and Enzymes. Here's a bit of information for you http://www.renewlife.com/h-o-p…..a-kit.html (of course, along with a good diet!)

You can find all the products online, if you want, at http://www.renewlife.com along with good explanations of how they might help you and what they have in them, in case you choose to put together your own program. You can also find them on other websites and in Walgreens, besides health food stores.

dr watson

i went to my gnc and bought the cleansemore, but i couldnt find anything else that you reccomended to me so i bought the organic bowel cleaner or something. As soon as i got home  i mixed orange juice with the bowel cleaner and had my first bowel movement in less than 15 minutes! It was small and a little fat though, is that ok?  I wanted to know how do i mix these two cleaners and how to use them like for how long and that.

Sarah,

I'm actually a Nutritionist and Colon hydrotherapist, with a whole lot of special study regarding herbs and cleansing protocols. At one time, I had 5 clinics, but I don't see clients directly anymore, so answering this way allows me to continue to share and help.

I'll be excited to hear from you soon as you become more and more healthy!

Dear Sarah,

I think you may have done your own detective work – you’re very constipated!!! You should be moving your bowel if not twice, at least once daily. I want you to learn what healthy elimination actually is – http://www.brendawatson.com/po…..art01.aspx

Your body has 7 channels of elimination. Your colon/digestive system is only one. In fact, your skin eliminates more toxins than your kidneys and colon combined. Check this out http://www.renewlife.com/learn…..-cleansing

You need to get your bowel moving properly and clear those channels!

I would recommend a product like either Renew Life First Cleanse along with CleanseMore, or CleanseSmart to begin. You didn't mention your age. If you're in your teens, start with First Cleanse – it's very gentle, and then CleanseMore will help the bowel to move. This post I made should help you to decide which might be most helpful. http://blog.brendawatson.com/f…..sing-faqs/ Always start slowly.

Be sure and read the entire directions and start off slowly. You mentioned you had lost weight following your cleaner diet. Start any program at half strength, or even less. No reason to hurry. You may have a lot of elimination initially, and then it may slow and then continue again. Let me know if you have any further questions, and keep in touch!

Hi brenda! Well let me start by explaining this weird event. I started having body odor about 3 years ago, its been on and off constantly though. OF course, i cant smell it, but for comments i have heard its something onion-ish, and very strong, but i doubt it could fill a room.

At first i thought ok im not showering enough, so i started doing that. I changed deodorants too. Nothing. I am EXTREMELY hygenic i even wear foot deodorant and my foot dont smell, AT ALL. I used antibacterial soap and take 1-2 showers a day. About a year ago i started adding more fruits and water to my diet and all, i try to stay away as much as possible from meat, onions, junk food, i am mostly all organic and natural (which i have lost A LOT of weight for, my mom is worried). It is weird that this has started at the time i was taking Yazmin but when the odor started i thought that could have been the cause so i went off them, and nothing.

Sometimes i would wear a men's T shirt (which is cotton) and no smell at all, in the mornings i didnt seem to smell either. And sometimes if i dont think about it, its like its not there, or people are just used to it and dont do faces or comments.

I had my hormones checked and they are perfectly fine. My gynecologist says im fine, my GP says im fine, no defency whatsoever, i seem very healthy.  I have been to many GP's, they say its all in my head. i dont have an anxiety problem but if I did this definetly takes the toll. I want to feel normal again, before this started i would never smell bad.  I KNOW i am not imagining this, I just am obssessed about this because i cant control it.

But now the odor just seems to get worse. Before i could shower and go around in the men's T shirt and wouldnt smell, now i do, about 40 mins after showering. Lately ive read about Fish odor syndrome which makes you smell like fish in the most extreme cases, i dont think i have this for this is genetic, but i will get tested just for the peace of mind. Did i mention i am constipated? Very little bowel movements sometimes i can go for days without any bowel movement. Also, i dont sweat a lot, only when im under stress (which is most of the time since most of the time i am stressing over if i smell or not) .

I would appreciate your answer, cant wait to read what you have to say. Thanks for taking the time.

Sarah.
