Dear new2naturalhealth

I have been away am sorry for the delay in answering. My advice would be to go Enterolab.com and get a test for gluten and dairy. This is the most important test you can take. You do not need a doctor to order the test. Once you get the results I will help you from there.

The other thing that is very important before you start taking a lot of supplements is educate yourself. Call 800 830 4778 and ask for Sandee Kiser tell her to send you for free a ReNew Your Life book and the Gut Solutions book Read the entire ReNew Your Life book and then in the Gut Solutions book read about the condition of Candida and Leaky Gut. This will begin to give you the direction you need to get started.

There are 2 things you can do immediately get the CleanseSmart kit and start a cleansing program Also get started on our 80 billion Critical Care probiotic.

Sandee will help you with this when you call for the books. You cannot start on a candida program without doing a CleanseSmart first anyway and this will help start the detox process. Sandee can also send some samples of our CleanseMore to try.

It is good you are looking at this before you start the process of getting pregnant.

You can do this so start by learning through the books we will send.

Let me know how it goes

Sincerely

Brenda

Dear Brenda,

I saw you a few years ago on PBS… you sounded great and you look so healthy, a product of your knowledge in this subject matter.  I want to have vibrant health.  My family doesn't think it exists and that I just should not think about my health.  But my body constantly reminds me that I do not seem to have very much energy or good health and I know it once existed since I was healthy as a teenager and a child.  Sometimes my husband and father-in-law think it is all in my head.  My Mother-in-law is a nurse in traditional medicine for years and they do not agree with anything alternative, nor do they think they need to change the way they eat or that it affects their health very much.  I am living with them right now – as my husband is out of work.  It is very hard to eat what I think I should eat to feel better when they purchase all the food.  I feel bad asking for them to purchase much of anything especially since organic produce is so expensive.  I want to have vibrant health, but I have a limited budget.  I looked for a naturopathic physician and it is not covered by my insurance.  I feel pressure to not spend very much money on this health issue and just to ignore it but I can't ignore it for fear that it will get worse and then I will be dealing with allergies, or asthma too.  I wish it would go away but so far the hypoglycemia, constipation, bloating, acid reflux, menstrual cramps, eczema, mild depression and fatigue has stayed, also some chest pressure after eating.  Poor assimilation and circulation as well.  We do have a garden so in the summer I can get some organic vegetables for free.

Can hypoglycemia and healthy weight control be attained by taking candigone?  I am underweight would this help me gain weight?  Would I be able to process food better by getting rid of the candida if I have it? Is hypoglycemia a symptom of candida?

I also was diagnosed 6 years ago with Mononucleosis – can this turn into chronic fatigue?  Is this related to candida?

My husband wants us to have children but my body can't seem to support it's own energy.  So I need to find a solution otherwise we will be childless.

It sounds like from other people's posts I need to do a gluten, lactose (family history of milk allergies) and food sensitivity test from enterolabs.com. I have thought a lot about taking the candigone, enzymes, and taking alkalinizing minerals and doing urine and saliva testing for pH and then monitoring that while taking the alkalinizing minerals.  I seem to need to eat a lot of high fat foods when I have low blood sugar.  I eat cheese or peanut butter to help the lightheadedness go away but it is a temporary fix.  I have poor assimilation to hot weather, I used to be able to tolerate hot days better.  I get irritable too and angry and have had alot of anxiety a few years ago - sign of depression.  Do you think that depression can be a sign of an overloaded liver or gallbladder problems?

Main question is that:   I do not know what to try first.  I just don't want my health to get worse or to have a bad reaction if I unknowingly take supplements which should not be taken together.  What works together and what would be a first place to go on a limited budget.  I should do the testing before I try the supplements right?  Do I need to see a physician or GI doctor or naturopath?  Thank you for all of your knowledge and help!  Sorry this is so long I wanted to give a health history so you would know my background.  Also, are there any good doctors you would recommend in the San Francisco bay area?

~ Heather

Dear Brenda,

This is my first ever post… I was diagnosed with a stress ulcer almost 2 years ago.  I took 40 mg pantroprazole sodium (proton pump inhibitor) nightly for about 9 months.  I never bled, and was never hospitalized but I was so weak I had to sit down to do the dishes and some days I had to sit down because it felt like my insides were not going to hold me up.  At first I could not sing or even have the energy to smile.  I was so depressed.  I had to force myself to eat because I was losing weight too quickly.  A lot of bloating, some gas, moderate acid reflux (now improved), and at the time hypoglycemia.  I am 5'4" and my healthy weight should be 125-130, my lowest weight with the ulcer was 104.  I am now back to 118-120 depending on the day.

But now I have constant constipation.  I have had moderate constipation off and on for a few years but the last 4 days really horrible and I have stopped eating meat, and am lessening bread, dairy, little cheese.  I recently started taking prenatal pills from Trader Joe's in hopes of getting pregnant some day but I really really want to solve this constipation thing because the last 4 days has been awful!!!  I still have mild hypoglycemia and I have to eat otherwise I get light-headed, trouble concentrating, I used to get shaky but now I feel faint if I don't eat.  I have started yoga, and gone back to school to keep myself busy but I think I am overwhelmed and I can't afford to have bowel issues.

I read off and on about natural health and think I see a few connections.  I have Moderate period cramps too every month and often nausiating burps or acid-reflux along with my periods and dull deep menstrual cramps.  I do not want to overload my liver with a ton of pain medications so I use a sock filled with rice and heat it in the microwave and use that for all of my pain.  I think I may also be anemic because I have circles under my eyes and a pale complextion.  I do not tolerate warm weather as well as I used to.  I am 29 years old and really want to have children someday but I do not think my body is strong enough to have a child and I am aware of the increased risk of gestational diabetes if you have hypoglycemia.  I wonder if I could be low on iron (anemia) and magnesium because I have heard that magnesium pulls water into the colon (I have constipation) and that magnesium also helps with period cramps which I also have.  Please help me, I cannot tolerate the present constipation, I do not want to be hospitalized.  Also every so often I have a strange pinch in my left lower leg to the left of my knee.  I do not know what that is and cold fingers and toes.  Thank you so much for your time!  I live in the San Francisco Bay Area if you know of any good doctors and testing facilities here.  Thanks!!!
