Hi Deb,

My assistant will be happy to email you that protocol.

I am familiar with d-limonene, but don't use it personally, so I really can't comment.

Thanks for all the info.  I have been taking the Ultimate Flora and Rainbow Lights – Advanced Enzyme System for the past three

month. I lowerered the ppi dose to 20 mg, and am now ready to go off completely.

I would appreciate the protocol you mentioned, so that I could use to start the wean down process.

Are you familiar with d-Limonene?

Thanks,

Deb

Dear Deb,

Wow, you were given a lot of information all at once! Your head must be spinning.

Great first step with probiotics. I take the 50 billion as a maintenance dose every day. That product is enteric coated which means it doesn't need refrigeration, unless you want to, and also, you can take it any time of the day – it is designed to open in your gut where it’s needed. I generally take mine in the morning, but do what feels good to you.

All of Renew Life digestive enzymes are plant based. Plant based enzymes work more effectively over a wider pH range. Although you can take them before, during or after a meal, I like to take them a few minutes before my meal so they can open in the stomach and "get ready for the food!" DigestMore Ultra has been helpful even for people who are currently using PPIs.

Let's start here – please email my assistant at jsinclaire@renewlife.com and request the chapter on GERD from my new book, The Road to Perfect Health. With constipation for all that time, at the very least you’re experiencing a Leaky Gut. Ask Jemma to send you that chapter too. They contain info and protocols that will be useful. Also, please feel free to contact my fantastic Customer Service Dept. at 800-830-1800 if you ever have any questions about products.

Here’s an important blog for you. Be sure to also check out the video-blog (there’s a clickable link within the blog itself for that). http://blog.brendawatson.com/g…..e-the-gut/

Once you’ve stabilized and decide to wean off the PPIs, just ask and we’ll send you a protocol I’ve created that you can share with your physician as you start your wean-down process.

Hi,

I'm 60 years old and have had gerd for almost 30 years. I've been on PPI's for a long time. Also, constipation has been a life long problem, even as a baby.  I recently had stool and saliva testing, and was told to eliminate wheat, gluten, soy, eggs and dairy. I'm also lactose intolerant and have a shellfish allergy.  Sometimes I wish I could just go on a liquid diet, it would be so much easier.

I just recently started taking your Ultimate Flora Critical Care 50 Billion probiotics. I think I would benefit from a digestive enzyme, but am not sure which one. I think I have to look for a plant based one because of ingredients.

One of my goals is to get off the PPI.

What is the best time of day to take probiotics and enzymes ? Before, during or after meals, bedtime ??

Thanks,

Deb
