Dear gettinghealthy

Yes, that all sounds fine to do and you are on the right track.

Hi Brenda,

Just wanted to post a quick update. Last year, I did a candigone cleanse, then cleansesmart, then liver detox, then candigone again.

For the last 2 months I have not been cleansing. I have been taking ultimate flora 200, 80 or 50 depending on the day and taking intestinew…sometimes and capsules, sometimes the powder. I have missed days but have been doing that pretty consistantly. I stayed on the candida diet for 5 months and did start having milk in my decaf again because I think drinking so much soy gave me heavy periods. I'm still not eating gluten and am mostly on a candida diet with the exception of an occasional small cheat like a fitsmart bar or a peice of chocolate….once a week or so. Also have been having occasional fruit. I did get some symptoms back like heartburn and a bit of gas here and there as well as a yeast infection here and there…but increasing the probiotics for a few days has been clearing that up. However, my other symptoms have not returned…..the fogginess etc…..

I continue to take fibersmart daily as well.

I thought it is time for the next step…Clearly there is still a problem even though I am way better. I started Paragone and Parazyme today to address the remaining candida as well as any other parasites that I may have. I'm also going on the strickter diet again. I read in one of your books that some people who have a hard time getting rid of candida can have parasite and/or heavy metal problems as well so I intend to cleanse for both with a short break in between.

Am I on the right track?

Dear gettinghealthy

On the yeast in your supplements. Here is the answer. If you are sensitive to dietary yeast this is a problem. The only way to find out if you have a sensitivity to yeast is to go to Enterolab.com and order the stool test for yeast. You can also test for gluten and dairy in the same test.

If you cannot do this and you suspect yeast is a problem find another supplement without the yeast. This is the best I can do without going further. I will tell you I find many people sensitive to dietary yeast

Sorry cannot be more helpful but need test to really know

Sincerely

Brenda

Hi Brenda,

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me advice and encouragement. I have ordered the liver detox to do next and will proceed as you have recommended.

I've also started by boyfriend on the cleanses and hope supplements and is also doing Cleansesmart and then will do —> Liver Detox —> Candigone as well. His symptoms are not even close to as bad as mine are but I think it will benefit him and he does have mild symptoms that could be candida related.

I'd love to come and watch you speak. I will have to look out for when you are speaking in my area. It would be wonderful to meet you.

One more question….thought I'm sure I will have others through this process….I had previously been taking whole food vitamins (just C and B complex and sometimes just B12) and noticed that my vitamins are yeast based as are most of the whole food ones, especially vitamin B. They are grown in Saccharimyces cerevisiae. They also contain Saccharimyces biulardii which I know is a beneficial yeast. Is it OK for me to take those? I have discontinued for now just in case but I know b vitamins are important for intestinal lining.

Dear gettinghealthy

Wow!!!! You have done a great job!!! I will try to address your questions. First keep on with CleanseSmart after that I would do the Liver Detox for 30 days. With the CleanseSmart if the evening formula is giving too much elimination then take just one instead of 2. You want to cleanse but adjust to your particular body.

To go and do CandiGone is a good idea. I would do 30 days and then stop. After that manage with the maintenance of HOPE High Fiber Omega 3 Probiotics and Enzymes. The Intestinew can be used during any period but I would use the Intestinew after the next CandiGone  program for sure to get the lining of the gut so the bacteria can adhere and grow!!!

All of the teas are fine. As a matter of fact that is really good you figured this out. Any herbal tea not sweetened is OK for you.

If you manage the candida you will not have the reflux it is a direct result of  candida.

God, I wish people could get what you have!!! If I come to you area anytime to speak please come. It would be a joy to meet someone who has taken this as serious as you.

Let me know how this goes and if any more questions just send them in. Trying to finish my new book so been really busy trying to catch up with questions.

Keep up the good work

Brenda

Forgot that I have acid reflux too :) Haven't had it since starting the cleansing though.

Just wanted to post an update for when you see this. I finished 30 days on the Candigone and am now on day 4 of the Cleansesmart. Hopefully that was OK to do. I am continuing with the recommended diet for Candigone. I am drinking a cup of either Paul D'arco, peppermint or chamomile tea daily to try to keep the candida down as I do the Cleansesmart. My guts are still getting used to the cleansesmart but I think that will even out with a little time.

I felt like I needed a general cleanse before continuing with the candigone.

I have a lot of Candigone II left. Is it safe to take it for maintanance while on the Cleansesmart or is that too much? How about between cleanses?

I plan to do another 2 months of the candigone after the cleansesmart and then work with the intestinew and ultimate flora 200 and 80 so my gut can recover. I will also take a package of candigone every 3 months as I saw you recommend.

I will definately stay on the hope supplements always as well. This is a long road but the relief I feel so far is keeping me motivated.

first of all..thank you so much for all your wonderful products. they are already a lifesaver to me. I have horrendous candida symptoms for most of my life….white coated tongue, recurrent yeast infections, hypoglycemia…in the last few years, cracking joints, horrible gas and bloating after eating anything, bad breath dispite great oral hygene, painful menstral cycles, foggy headedness, memory loss, inability to concentrate, forgetting words I have known for years and misspeaking, fatigue, feeling "drunk" all the time, lack of libido, athsma, sensitivity to smells and chemicals, moodiness and occasional joint pain. I'm sure I forgot a thing or two. Bad, I know. I have been on tons of antibiotics in my life as well as acutane. I eat a healthy diet and don't take any meds cause it makes me feel slightly better.

I have taken your ultimate flora 50 billion…both the regular and vaginal for a couple of years and it has given me a little bit of relief. I took the 200 billion for a week and it provided relief from most of my digestive issues while I was on it. I had what felt like severe die off off and on during the course of taking the probiotics.

So I bought the candigone and have been on it for 30 days. I am following the diet strictly and am taking candizyme, fibersmart, oilsmart and ultimate flora 50 as suggested. I feel so much better! My symptoms are 90% gone already! I really haven't had much die off reaction but felt it off and on and even recently….usually I can get rid of the feeling by downing a bunch of water. And I'm not craving high carb foods or sugar at all! It's amazing. I really hope this improvements keeps up and want to make sure I don't go back to feeling like I did before. I'm pretty committed to staying on a gluten free diet even after I resolve this issue. I've never really eaten that much sugar to begin with.

I read after I started that I should have done a regular cleanse before starting the candigone. I bought cleansesmart and I have more candigone as well. How should I best proceed? Should I do the cleansesmart now and follow it with more candigone for 2-3 months or should I stay on the candigone for another 2 months and then take a break and do cleansesmart? What will give me the most success?

I also would like to use paragone at some point in the future.

I know I need intestinew and once I finish the cleansing, I will take that with ultimate flora 200 followed by ultimate flora 80 to heal my intestines and replenish good flora. I will definately continue to take candizyme for maintanance as well.

What do you think?

I've been drinking tons of water. Occasionally I drink mineral water for a change here and there but it occured to me that perhaps I can drink teas made from some of the herbs that help kill candida as well. I bought paul d'arco, peppermint and chamomile tea to have occasionally when I want something different. Will that help at all? Is it a good idea? I've also been eating a little coconut oil each day. I had tea made from peppermint and chamomile yesterday and had extreme sugar cravings afterward. It was very strange…I suppose it could have been some type of die off reaction. Of course, the tea is unsweetened. Any other tea suggestions or suggestions for things to drink or eat that will help the candigone along?

Hope that is not too long and I want to thank you again for your wonderful work and products. I will be a customer for life.
