Dear paulaciapponi,

Gallbladder issues directly relate to lack of fiber and liver toxicity. I talk about that here http://blog.brendawatson.com/f…..sing-faqs/

Much can be done without surgery!!!

It's important to open her channels of elimination – get things flowing properly. This article will help your understanding – http://www.renewlife.com/learn…..-cleansing

I don't want to overwhelm you. It's always recommended to work with an Integrative practitioner during a cleanse, if possible. Here are 2 websites that might help you locate someone near you. http://www.acam.org and http://www.functionalmedicine.org. You can also call Phyllis at EnteroLab – 972-686-6869. She has a national directory of Integrative practitioners who have more advanced digestive training.

Diet is key. Giving the body real food and nutrition works wonders! Eliminate sugar, gluten/wheat, processed foods, carbonated beverages. I know it's tough with a teenager. And it's essential.

To clarify, in the top link, First Cleanse was mentioned. That may be the best place to start. Go slowly. If she's under 125 pounds, you may start with 1/4 or 1/2 serving. She could increase as long as she's feeling good. As also mentioned, fiber and probiotics will be very important in the program too. Ultimate Flora 15 billion Adult formula will most likely be a good fit for her, although once again, you can open the cap and start at half strength, depending on how her body responds to supplementation. Everyone is different.

You didn't mention if she's constipated. If she's having less than one bowel movement daily – she's constipated. If so, you want her bowel to eliminate toxins during the cleanse, she may need CleanseMore along with First Cleanse, as explained in the post. "Better out than in!"

If she experiences gas, bloating, DigestMore enzymes might help with that. Again, these are just general suggestions. There's so much to say. A practitioner nearby would be best for her.

I hope this information is helpful for you both. Let me know how it goes.
