I feel your pain. Please email my assistant at jsinclaire@renewlife.com to send you the chapter on Candidiasis from my new book. You might ask her for Leaky Gut as well.
I think those chapters will answer your questions, and more.

I keep getting a yeast infection 2 weeks prior to my period
My life is very busy and stressfull. I bought probiotics for
Vaginal support, I just started them yesterday. Just curious why
At almost 43 years of age that my body is doing this to me.
I eat a well balanced diet and am physically active at my
Local gym, I am not overweight and I am getting frustrated.
If u are able to help with some advice.
