Dear Brenda,

I started out very slowly about four months ago eliminating any sugars/gluten including fruit juice. Then a month ago I eliminated all fruit.  Then a week ago I started very slowly every second night having no grain.  I am now five full days on your recommended elimination/detoixification diet and I feel quite sick at times.  I have learned from reading over 100 posts on your forums that I am what you called the "senstivie cleanser" so I know I must go very very slowly.  I am doing the whole H.O.P.E. thing including the stronger Digestmore Ultra enzymes three times a day.  I take the Fibersmart two to three times da day.  I take the highest quality fish oil you have(Norweign) twice a day and I just started incorporating the 50 billion probiotic.  I know I must start even the probiotics slowly because the die off gets so bad I can't get out of bed.

My question or my need for support is this:  I want to know if it is normal to still feel so fluish, nausea, achy, irritable, and bloated on Day 5 of this diet.  First of all, I have been mostly vegan(macrobiotic) for years so eating the meat has been a stretch for me but I am willing to do this diet to get well.  It has been an expensive endeavor with all the supplements but all the organic meat but I am determined to feel better.  I know you tell people to go see an Integrative Doctor but I want to try your Renew Life regime first as I have bought all the products.  Once I can feel better taking the probiotic, I will start the Intestinew and then First Cleanse and then finally the Candigone kit. My bowels movements are fine so no worries there.  Since starting the diet, I have this pain in my right side and my acupuncturist said it was gallbladder related. Also I broke out with a herpes type acne that is healed now. I do no suffer vaginal infections.  Last one was in 2010 when I was doing the Candigone kit. I have also done several Paragone kits (5 in a row and felt horrible doing them).

I guess what I am asking is:

1.  Is what I am experiencing normal reaction on this elimination diet after five days on it? Have you heard of people reacting with such bad die off like I am?

2. Is there anything else I should be doing?

3. Is there an online support group I can be involved with that is having such bad die off reactions/candida issues like I am?

Thank you for your help.  Your assistant Jemma has been a true blessing for me as she has helped me get on this path.  I am very grateful for her assistance.  I thought I would email you with these next questions not only for my own benefit but for all those that may be struggling on the elimination diet as well.  Thank you for that one week free recipes.  Some of them taste very good.  I would have no clue how to cook all this meat/fish if it weren't for those recipes.

I am truly grateful for your forum as I have learned so much by reading the question/answers.  May God bless you for your ability to help so many people get well.

I am looking forward to your responses.

Sincerely,

Pachipres
