I hear your pain. Please check out my Poop Chronicles – http://www.brendawatson.com/po…..hronicles/. Constipation can be one issue.
Another is actually Candida yeast, more directly. Do not put the Ultimate Flora Vaginal Support capsule in the vagina. The capsule is enteric coated, and will not dissolve in the vaginal pH environment. Consumers have reported opening the capsules and using the probiotics as a douche with good results and certainly there are other products on the market that are introduced vaginally. We just don't market that way.
Ultimately, you'll need to rebalance the bacteria in your gut as well. So please continue the oral probiotics too!

I get recurring BV infections after visiting my long-distance boyfriend no matter how careful we are to be clean. Something is apparently getting disturbed down there. I had just seen your PBS show as I was deciding to try another round of antibiotics since the home remedies of yogurt, vinegar, tea tree oil, etc were reducing symptoms but not completely working. After reading about your probiotics information, I decided that it makes more sense with everything else I'd been reading about the balance in the vagina. Right now I'm desperate to get rid of the odor and avoid recurrences! I'm planning to pick up the Ultimate Flora Vaginal Support 50 Billion tomorrow. My question is, can the pills be used as a suppository directly in the vagina for maximum, quick results since the capsule is vegetable based? Or is it safer to ingest them?
