Dear Aurora

You could very well be right. I have had the same problems and I have a hiatal hernia. It is worse in the morning. But the other thing that could make you feel like that is a food sensitivity. You say you do not eat gluten or corn.

Do you eat dairy?

The way I can help further is for you to go to labtestingdirect.com(code watson for extra discount)  and order the CSA Comprehensive Digestive Analysis and once you get the results I can help you further.

The other thing that comes to mind is Candida in the gut and the test will give us a great picture of what is going on in the gut.  It is a great test and really a good way for you to get a baseline of what is going on. It will rule out a lot of things. Go to the website and read about it.

If it comes to you having a hernia 2 things could be helpful acupuncture and chiropractic both can help that problem.

Let me know how to help further

Brenda

Dear Brenda-

I was lucky to meet you on a tour you did not too long ago :) I'm a huge fan of your products and suggest them ALOT at the Health Food store that I work at. Recently I have had quite a bit of emotional strain and recently developed some gastro issues. I'm having quite a time figuring out the right combo of products to take to calm the issue.  At first I tried the Apple Cider Vinegar trick to see if I need to take Heartburn Prevention w/HCL b/c I thought I had too little acid but the ACV seemed to make the burning worse. So I have been taking Intestinew and the 80 Billion probiotics + the regular Digest More at meals. I don't feel any burning anymore (thank heavens!)  I feel like I have a pretty good diet (gluten + corn free + I try to follow my "avoids" list for Eat Right diet) lots of veggies no fried foods etc.  I still have this persistent uneasy feeling in my gut. For example: In the morning I feel as if Phlegm is caught in my throat & all of a sudden swallowing capsules makes me feel like I have something stuck in my throat.  I don't necessarily feel any acid regurgitation (GERD) but something just doesn't feel right. I've always been pretty attune to my body and now I'm just confused. Sometimes the Digest More seems to be too much so I've been taking an enzyme that contains no protease but Slippery elm & Marshmallow root, it seems like the best for now but I want to figure out the root of the issue or it's will never be fixed.  I'm definitely not a doctor or nutritionist and since I live in SC there are no naturopaths or osteopaths in the area to help me figure out what's going on. I am concerned that if I go to the Doctor they will try to put me on something for Reflux (which will only make the issue worse over time).  I wondered if it is a Hiatal Hernia & in that case I feel as if there is not a whole lot that can be done for me.  For now I will continue with my Instestinew/probiotics regiment but if you have any good ideas let me know.  PS. I'm still in shock that I am having Gastro Issue b/c I feel like I have always had a great diet and exercise regimen so any advice would be awesome.  I can't wait till I get my hands on your new book :)

Thanks again
