Not necessarily. Anti-parasitic herbs or medications are very specific, and eliminate the parasites in a particular way. Also, many times parasite cleanses need to be repeated in order to handle the eggs that hatch in new cycles. Lovely, eh? Anyhow, sorry that your uncomfortable tests didn't necessarily handle all issues.

Quick question.  Since I have had 2 colonoscopies in such a short time of each other wouldn't a parasite be flushed out?

Dear chunchma,

It's sad that most traditional docs aren't aware of how important the balance of good to bad bacteria and possible issues with parasites are to your gut health. The symptoms you describe sound a lot like Parasitic Disease (which is very common, by the way) and/or Candida issues. And one random stool test that your gastro doc may have done wouldn't necessarily reveal the problem.

Please email my assistant at jsinclaire@renewlife.com to send you the chapters from my new book on Parasitic Disease and Candidiasis.

Once you read the chapter, I'm sure you'll want to consider a Comprehensive Stool Analysis (described toward the top of this Forum under My Tests). And don't despair – you can order it without a doctor - and then you'll know what's really going on in your gut. We can help you to interpret the results, if you'd like.

Many people actually do a cleansing regularly as maintenance. You can learn a bit more about gut health and cleansing here – http://www.renewlife.com/learn…..all-health and also more about parasites – http://blog.brendawatson.com/f…..ites-faqs/

Of course, the test results will help you with a definite direction.

I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

I have had some serious keep me from work stomach issues.

About 4 or 5 years ago I started getting VERY constipated and tons of uncomfortable bloating along with a feeling of fullness. If I ate a small meal or large meal I felt Thanksgiving full.  There were also times were if I ate a meal be it small or large about 1/2 later I would be starving as if I had not eaten in days. All of this happens in random cycles and maybe for two days I am fine, stomach flat as a board and then it starts all over again with bloating etc.  I just started taking Align pro-biotic and now it seems I am not constipated but lean more on the soft serve side (sorry for the descriptive words). Embarassed

I am a male, 50 years of age and for the most part in good health.  I am also lactose intolerant.  I have had 2 colonoscopies and 2 endoscopiesalong with ultrasound for gallstones and countless other tests and all the doctors can say is there is nothing there other than some minor irritation from acid reflux and I was told to get over the counter meds for that.

HELP PLEASE!  If this is what it is going to be like from now till death, I say why bother.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or help.   Smile
