HCL and Excessive Weight Loss
Topic RSS
Hi Shea,
A technically advanced, accurate and non-invasive test to determine HCl levels is the Heidelberg pH Test. To find a doctor who can perform this test, visit http://www.phcapsule.com.
I would suggest a Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parisitology x3 to determine what is going on in your Mother’s gut. You can learn more about this test and its cost on the first post of this forum.
To really evaluate your Mom’s weight loss, I would recommend finding an Integrative Medical Doctor. That’s a physician who has studied both traditional as well as alternative health therapies. Check out http://www.acam.org and http://www.functionalmedicine.org for these types of practitioners. If you'd like, send your zipcode to my assistant, jsinclaire@renewlife.com, and we can see if there’s someone we might recommend.
I hope I’ve helped a bit.

OfflineHello Brenda,
What test do you suggest my mother take to determine her HCL level? She is trying to determine if she have too much or too little acid.
Also, she is having difficulties gaining wait and I'm not sure if it a result of her having digestive problems. What test do you suggest she take for that? What type of specialist would you recommend she see regarding these problems?
A quick response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Shea
