Dear Meesh1,

I'm glad to hear that you're getting a scope to rule out very serious issues.

You didn't mention what you're eating. Diet is 80% of the game, and even more so for you with your history. I would go to Entero Lab (see My Recommended Tests toward top of this Forum) and do a food sensitivity stool test. You might want to consider an Elimination Detox diet http://www.brendawatson.com/diet/, which eliminates many of the most common allergenic foods and gives your digestive system a rest, of course along with your prescribed dietary restrictions.

Also, Ultimate Flora 50 billion would be the probiotic I would start with. You need both lacto for the small intestine and bifido for the large. Yours is a very complex issue. To learn more about cleansing for the future, you can begin here http://blog.brendawatson.com/f…..sing-faqs/

You are not alone, sadly. Many people have similar issues.

I hope this helps.

Ms. Watson,

I am 4 years out from a gastric by-pass and have begun to have gut problems.  (I've not finished losing weight and have begun to gain, help)  Even before surgery I had bowel problems but now my stomach is involved.  I am often 3-7 days without a BMovement.   It is not unusual when my bowels finally move it is a "dumping" common to GBpass people.  Stool is often like wet sand and ends totally liquid, lovely subject.  Additionally the intestinal gas and belching is a constant.  Lately, I am nauseous after taking my medication (antidepressant and a mild ADD medication) taking my nasal spray for sinus swelling sends me into dry heaves, fun, fun. My stomach is now feeling acidic and occassionally burning, nearly everything bothers me.  I am not currently taking a pro-biotic.  I am scheduled for a stomach scope but I am not sure where to begin with your products.  I will be checking with my physician about stool testing.  Do I start with a cleanse and jump onto mega pro-biotics?  Anyone else out there with these problems?
