Dear cjsoup,

Thanks so much for your letting us know your great results with Ultimate Flora Critical Care! And those of your relatives too!

It does sound like you are dealing with yeast at this point. Your symptoms are evident in this article (perhaps you’ve already read it!) http://www.brendawatson.com/di…..s/candida/

As yeast issues can be complicated, I always like to see what’s there. If at all possible, I would recommend ordering the Comprehensive Stool Analysis (CSA). The test is described, along with how to access it at a very reasonable price, in the first post on this forum.

3 small children and 2 jobs is definitely a lot to manage. However, the Candida DIET is CRITICAL to the success of any anti-Candida program. To heal from Candida, a commitment must be made. Really. The diet is great for your kids too, so you might make it a family project!

With regard to cleanses, you can start with First Cleanse (along with the Candida diet) for two weeks, and after that, CandiGone. First Cleanse is designed to open up your 7 channels of elimination so that when you start to really knock out your Candida with Candigone, you can be effective.

Continue your probiotics during the First Cleanse normally.  And you will also continue them during CandiGone. Just be sure and take them at least 2 hours away from when you take Candigone. That way the anti-bacterial herbs won’t destroy your probiotics. Remember to also do this whenever you may take any anti-fungal or anti-bacterial medications in the future, herbal or prescription.

Once again, you will want to begin to follow the diet IMMEDIATELY. You want to be established on the diet before you begin CandiGone for best results.

One more thing, fiber is essential in a cleansing program. It helps eliminate toxins from the digestive tract and promotes regularity. One of the best fiber supplements contains flax with both soluble and insoluble fiber, like Renew Life FiberSmart. Soluble fiber absorbs the toxins and insoluble fiber sweeps the colon. Unless severe constipation is an issue, never do a cleansing program without adding fiber for support to pick up and carry away the toxins.

You didn’t mention where you found a diet to follow. If you contact my assistant, jsinclaire@renewlife.com, she can email you the diet we recommend. What part of the diet did you find most difficult? Perhaps I can give you some suggestions.

Let me know how you're doing.

Brenda Watson

First, I should say that I have taken Ultimate Flora Critical Care for years after suffering from IBS, possibly brought on by bouts of c. diff and giardia on seperate occasions.  I have turned many on to  it including a great grandfather with recurrent bowel problems, and my MIL who had frequent issues from herceptin and chemotherapy.  I turned both into believers and tell anyone that will listen why they should take it.

I seem to have some problems lately with excess gas and bloating, brain fog, and think that I may have systemic yeast, as I keep having recurrent vag infections that either don't go away with a regular course of creams or return almost immediately.  I have been taking a nystatin type pill from the dr, but  due to my brain fog, unfortunately I can't seem to remember to take them!  I just had my 40 year physical and all numbers were within range. Lately I have been having some very strange symptoms including very strong (mothball?) smelling urine, and some light neuropathy in my feet.  Also some itching when I do remember to take it, due to the die off I would imagine.

I am considering a cleanse, but was wondering if the first cleanse, or fit and be flush was more appropriate?  And then move on to the CandiGone?  Or, should I start with the CandiGone and not deal with the others.  I also want to know if I should halt the probiotics during the CandiGone process, as I have heard that sometimes the agents that kill the yeast just kill off the probiotic effect as well.

I took the yeast enzyme formula for a while, but don't think it was right for me, as it didn't do much to alleviate my symptoms.  I also tried a different brand's herbal Fungal Defense formula, but didn't have great results with that either.  I was following the diet (moderately) it is very difficult as I have 3 small children and work 2 jobs.

Any information or thoughts are greatly appreciated.
