Dear Lauren,

Good that you found an Integrative doc in your area.  I don't know of anyone personally in the Michigan area.  We are working on getting a network of doctors together, so you can check back in a couple of months if this one does not work out for you.

Probably good for the meds right now with your bacterial situation and them being so high.  The 200 billion probiotic – if it is the Renew Life Ultimate Flora Super Critical 200 billion sachet I would recommend you switch to the 50 Billion capsule and take four.  The reason why is the 200 billion sachet has FOS (fructoolligosaccharides) which citrobacter species thrives on. You need to make sure you do not have FOS in the probiotics or other supplements you are taking.   I would also suggest you stay away from all fruits except for a few berries right now.

Yes wait until the antibiotics are done and then start the CandiGone – but you can start the diet immediately.  The post nasal drip can be from the whole process of killing off the bacteria and you may have yeast in the sinus that it is affecting and it is being affected by the antifungal.

Make sure you seperate the antibiotics and the probiotics by at least 2 hours.  yes you can take fiber but i would not suggest at the exact same time as the antibiotics.  you can take the fiber along with the probiotics.

Hope this helps

Thank you for responding and for the website. I found a doctor from that site that is in my area though I have to wait a month before I can see her. If you know of anyone doctor personally in Michigan that you would recommend I would be so happy to go to them since I trust your advice more than anyone. I went to see my family doctor to see what to do while I am waiting. She gave me ciproflaxen that I have to take twice a day for 10 days. I am also taking 200 billion probiotics. My doctor also gave me fluconazole (anti-fugal) that she want me to take twice a week for 4 weeks. Once I am done with the antibiotics I will be taking candienysmes and candi gone alone with the candida diet.  I just wanted to know if this sound like a good plan to fix my problems and if you have any suggestion.

Also ever since I started taking the antibiotics and the 200 billion probiotics I been having really bad post nasal drip (a constant flow). I have had pressure in my teeth for a long time and it seems to slowly be releasing. I have been to the dentist recently and he said their is nothing wrong with my gums or teeth. It feel like the mucus is being pulled from the back of my teeth and my cheek bones, teeth, and jaw are killing me.   However I am still having sharp pains in my stomach. I dont know if I need a longer dose of antibiotics or if it will be enough along with the probiotics I am taking. Also can I take fiber with antibiotics? Thank you soo much for your help and all you do. I have been praying for answers and I thank God I saw your pbs show.

God Bless you, Lauren

lauren,

I would highly suggest you look on http://www.acam.org for an integrative doctor in your area.  You do need the antifungals, antibacterials such as in CandiGone.  High probiotic like the 50 Billion twice daily and the candida diet.  Don't depend totally on medication you may still need to take natural agents to follow up for a longer period.  It will still take alot of effort on your part to get well.

Hi Brenda,

I got a CSA done and they found negatvie parisites of 3+ Citrobacter braaki, 3+ Citrobacter freundii, 4+ Proteus m irabilis, and also Many Yeast. I am going to my doctor to get some antibiotics for the bad bacteria because I have problems every month with cramps, sharp pain, and diarrhea. So bad that I hardly eat any more. But after that I don't know what to do to get rid of the yeast. I know that I can go on a yeast diet which I will but I don't know a good doctor or anyone for that matter that will help me get better with medication (which I may need). PLEASE HELP. I cant do this on my own and I need to feel better.

Thanks

Lauren
