Hi Brenda,

I looked up that I-ACT INTERNATIONAL and My therapist Gail Bean is on the list of certified providers. It's the open enema Colonic machine. I told her about me feeling faint/Dizzy and the heart palpitations. She said I could of stirred up some parasites! I told her I'd come again this Saturday and see if it happenes again. She said I might just have to drink some gatorade afterwards. Oh… I live north of Atlanta.

Also I think I figured out what's been causing the constipation. I take 2 different medications…..Lexapro and Xanex. I read online that they both can cause constipation. Right now I'm in the process of weaning off the Lexapro. I think the Xanex will be more of a beast to wean off.

I just bought your book "The Fiber35 Diet" and I'm committed to a life of healthy eating. You have truly been an inspiration Laugh

I lost my mother to Rectal cancer a year ago. I refuse to go down that path!!

Oh and by the way those fiber bars did the trick….I had a nice healthy banana this morning, LOL….

Thanks again for all you help,

Theresia

Sorry to be so geographically challenged but what city is that near? Did you go to a colon therapist who is certified by I ACT International Association of Colon Therapy? What type of equipment open or closed system? How long were you on the equipment? Did you fill out a history form? Did the therapist explain sometimes people can feel a little fatigue. Also if you do not mind could you let me know the website's that stated diverticula is contraindicated?

Sorry but get frustrated if when people go to therapy they do not get a thorough explanation. That is why when I practiced I would not accept new clients that would not commit to 3 treatments in the first 7 to 10 days.

Anyway I really want to get to the bottom of this and maybe the therapist just did not know.

Anyway what bigger city are you near?

Again sorry I need a geography lesson and the worst is I am from Charlotte NC

Sincerely

Brenda

Hi Theresia

Sorry but these are not side effects of colon hydrotherapy if properly performed. You can feel some fatigue if you are really toxic.  That is why when I did this therapy I suggested people do a series of 3 treatments. It is like stirring up muddy water. I do not know where you live but let me know and I will find someone for you to see there.

My other suggestion is go to labtestingdirect.com and order a CDSA this will help find out why you are not eliminating. This is a very comprehensive test. If you have been going through this for a long time something else could be going on in your colon this test will verify and then you have a focused plan. My own doctor had heart palpitations due to mercury toxicity. Guess what if you had a lot of mercury and you did the colonic your body could be trying to eliminate it and this sometimes is uncomfortable.

Again let me know where you live and I can maybe find someone to help. But if you had that test first it would save loads of time

Sincerely

Brenda

Hi Brenda,

I had my 1st Colonic yesterday. Afterwards I was feeling very faint and dizzy. These symptoms got worse as the day progressed. I also had severe heart palpitations. I did some research online and it says these are dangerous side effects! Also it stated that someone with internal hemorrhoids and diverticulosis should not get these treatments. I have both of these conditions. I have been doing the Cleanse Smart and the rest of the the H.O.P.E formula. I'm still not having healthy bowel movements. I'm extremely frustrated!! Any suggestions??

Theresia
