Dear Colette,

As the skin is the largest organ of elimination in the body, if you have fungus on your scalp, you can be quite sure you have fungus inside your body, often beginning in the gut. Thus your positive Candida test.

Please email my assistant at jsinclaire@renewlife.com and she will send you the chapter on Candidiasis from my new book, The Road to Perfect Health. I would suggest you follow the protocols outlined there. If you find you have questions regarding specific products, it might be quicker for you to call Customer Service – 800-830-1800. This Forum will be closed for the Holidays.

Here's a link to an article that will help you to understand the overall picture even better. http://www.renewlife.com/learn…..all-health.

It sounds as though you’ve been suffering a long time with issue after issue. At this point perhaps you're being called to be your own best doctor, by making a commitment to creating a healthy gut, which is critical to enjoying a healthy body.

I hope this helps, Colette. Let me know how it goes.

Dear Brenda,

I developed scalp sores  in June 2008. In April 2011 I visited a Dermatologist who diagnosed chronic scalp fungus. He prescribed Ketaconazole shampoo, which I used every other day for 2 months. When I found out that it could cause liver damage I stopped using it. I had two steroid injections over the course of three months.

I recently performed a saliva test for Candida which was positive. The white flakes sink to the bottom of the glass of water with saliva on top. I started taking Threelac one month ago and I use Neem shampoo. My scalp sores continue and crusting and shedding of skin is occurring. What products do you recommend to treat this fungus. I suffer from chronic stress and I have sugar cravings for years. My past medical history includes leaky gut syndrome, candidiasis and primary adrenal insufficiency in 2006. I am sick and tired of being unwell and I have visited homeopaths, doctors with no relief from my present condition. What products would you recommend? I really appreciate your valued and informative knowledge.

Thank you

Colette
