OfflineThanks for getting back to me Brenda…. I'm not sure what you mean when you suspect more… scares me a bit… I can't afford the test for another 2-3 weeks or so… when you say, strict candida diet, where can I find that? I am already off sugars &white flour, no gluten, and have cut out all meats & things difficult to digest. I have good days and bad days… I tried a gluten free beer on July 4th… that did me in… so I guess I am finding things I can & cannot consume…. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated until I can get that test done… thanks so much Brenda!

Dear Laurie,
You need to get this test done – Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parasitology – we need to see what is going on inside your gut!!!! Yes we can assume it is a candida overgrowth but I suspect more. In order to better target a treatment it would be best for you to do this test.
You can keep on the Candida program (you do not say how long now) until you decide about the test and see if you improve. CandiGone, the strict diet, the high probiotics, IntestiNew at one scoop in 8 oz water in morning on empty stomach – add this to the mix.
Every body is different and reduction of a true yeast overgrowth in the digestive tract will depend on the compliance to the diet, the product being used, the person's immune system etc……I have seen complete reversal in one month, but most take several months to even six months – does not mean one can go back to eating a crapy diet with lots of sugar and will never get an overgrowth again. Sometimes someone can deal with this issue for a longer time…..but 6 years – not doing something right or there are other issues going on. He needs the test too!
Make sure you are avoiding all sugar, no fruits except for a few tart berries and an occasional granny smith apple, no fruit juice, no wheat/gluten, reduce dairy. Basically lean meats, steamed, sauteed vegetables (any kind and lots), brown rice. Stay away from white foods – you can have red potatoe and sweet potatoe sparingly.
Let me know if you decide to do the test, my assistant can help you with the results.

OfflineHow could I forget to mention how I am allergic to a bunch of different things. I was using a chemical while oxidizing some jewelry about 13-14 years ago, and my whole body became so swollen you could barely see my eyes, I happened to be performing in a show in NYC at the time with no understudy, and was also allergic to the grip spray my skating partner used (up to 5 shows a day), needless to say, I was a mess! I went to a dermatologist & he couldn't believe it & put me on a steroid medication (prednisone) for 10 days. It did reduce the inflammation, however it never got rid of whatever poison was in my body. It morphed into dark red circles on the inside of my arms… I would cover it, but one day my employer discovered it & sent me to her allergist (in Germany). Evidently I had soooo many allergies, I don't even know what they are because I only spoke a little German. I have been pretty healthy because I believe how active I have been my whole life. Now, I have to retire from professional figure skating because I have arthritis so severely in my right hip it hurts even just teaching lessons. So, now broke, w/o a job, and completely unhealthy…. I've gained so much weight so quickly… I almost don't know what to do. My husband is completely helpful & just wants me to get better, I just need to know how!!!! Thank you, I apologize for my lengthy letters, looks like my memory is going too…. after I sent you the first note, I kept thinking of other issues!!!! Yikes! One more quick question, do you have any experience with rolfing? I had the 10 sessions done about 14-15 years ago, and remember that as the time I felt the best in my life…. just curious.
Thanks Brenda!

OfflineHi Brenda…
First I have to say I'm soooo happy you're out there! People tend to look at me as if I'm from Mars when I say I believe I have candida… even my doctor! I had a recurrent yeast infection last year from September until December, saw my gyno for it & she just kept prescribing me diflucan & other drugs which did not get rid of it. I did research online & took the advice of fellow sufferers. I then started having difficulty digesting & relieving… I went to a health food store & was shocked to hear the candida can live in your digestive tract too. I then started taking probiotics every day, cut out all sugar from my diet & gluten too. I recently started your candigone. I still feel awful, my question is… lets just say I have the worst bout of yeast… how long do I have to be on this modified diet/ candigone/probiotics for?!? The gentleman in the health food store told me it took him 6 years, and still cannot have sugar… and fruit in small quantities, could this be true?!? And if so, why doesn't the general population know about it? Now, going back in time, I'm sure I had it my whole life, and almost positive my Mom died of complications related to the candida. I would really love to hear your opinion on the subject! And I LOVE your products!
