Can probiotics cause gall bladder like attacks?

I have recently had pain in the right side just under the ribs, then vomiting and or diarrhea.  No green gall in the vomiting that I could see.  I didn't connect food with it until I ate a yogurt with probiotics and had a milder version.  The two previous times I ate cottage cheese and took a fast-acting lactose supplement (I am lactose intolerant).  Would the supplement (current or possibly outdated) have caused it?  Looking back I had another attack this summer that I thought was food poisioning–ate out and had taken the lactose supplement then.  In the hospital a few years ago for back surgery, the nurses gave me what they called a pill to populate my intestinal flora and fauna and within 15 minutes I had severe pain in the right lower rib area and then explosive diarrhea. Try to get out of bed fast after back surgery.   They gave it to me twice with the same effect before I refused to take it the third time.  My doctor has done x-rays, blood work, and an ultrasound.  He says there are minute gall stones but not large enough or volume enough to cause a gall bladder attack.
