Dear Lana,

Welcome and glad you took the time to write to me! Good efforts toward the c-diff issue.

I'd like you to take a look at the c-diff protocol I posted. http://blog.brendawatson.com/f…..ng-c-diff/

Cod liver oil contains omegas, which decrease inflammation, increase lubrication in the bowel, and research has recently shown that they assist in the repair of the intestinal lining too. I generally use a bit different fish oil myself, however if cod liver works for you, that's great.

You were reading my mind with regard to the stool analysis. I understand your situation, and perhaps that will be an option in the future. You would learn so very much from that.

I hope this helps.

Dear Brenda,

Newbie here!  I was taken to the emergency room in august 2011, and ended up staying 3 days, The Dr. said I had C-diff !  I have had IBS for years, but doing ok with it.   I have been diagnosis with Gastroparesis, as a result of the c-diff (thus no fiber and alot of refined foods) I believe I conquered the C-diff with probiotics (S. bollardi) I  have stopped taking any probiotics, but I would like to start taking them again, cuz I don't want this to happen again! I have 3-4 bowel movements a day, so I am not constipated, but do have a hard time getting it out, if you know what I mean. Would Cod liver oil be good for elimination? Also, currently am on magnesium citrate (400 mg). My poop smells now, it didn't before I came down with C-Diff. Sorry I am going on so long! Just would like a suggestion on which probiotic should I take (I am 59). I am taking papaya enzymes for digestion. I appreciate anything you could suggest. Would love to have a stool analysis, but I am on very limited income. Thanks so much

Lana
