Antiobiotics for 1 1/2 years straight - possible candida issue
Topic RSS
Dear aspasia20,
At this point, I’d spend my money on a Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parisitology x3. It's a fecal test. It’s explained along with a way to get a deep discount toward the top of this forum. You will be able to see what’s really going on in your gut that way. Let me know if you do the test and we'll help you to understand the results.
Your symptoms point to Leaky Gut Syndrome, where your gut lining is in need of healing (diarrhea) and your immune system is impaired (acne, fatigue, allergies). That 1 ½ years of antibiotics left its mark. Don’t worry, it can heal and repair with time and proper attention.
If you email my assistant at jsinclaire@renewlife.com, she’ll send you the chapters on Leaky Gut Syndrome and Candidiasis from my new book.
Here is an article I think you will find interesting re: acne from my blog. http://blog.brendawatson.com/g…..he-future/
I hope this helps.

OfflineHi! I was diagnosed a few years back with long term undiagnosed lymes disease. I was on amox for a year and a half straight to help battle things. I tried many times over that year and a half to stop – but every time I did, symptoms came back with a vengeance. After a year and a half, I finally was able to get off antibiotics and begin living a normal life again, relatively symptom free from lymes. I have been off antibiotics now for one full year and still lyme symptom free. However, since the antibiotics, my stomach has become a mess. I tried taking priobiotics you find in cvs etc and that hasnt' done anything (although I have read that so many probiotics actually dont contain what they claim to). I exercise almost daily, eat a vegan/vegetarian diet, and am 33 years old (female). All of a sudden my blood pressure has risen (3 months ago it was 116/72, it is now almost always at 142/95). Acne has become a huge issue. Fatigue still bothers me. Allergies to many new things. My stools are almost never formed at all (all unpainful diahhrea for the most part). My regular doctor of course doesn't belive in candida in the body like this and didn't test me for anything when I went. I was thinking of taking one of those mail in tests (fecal/urine) to test for things – just unsure if I should spend the money on that – or just take a product you recommend. There is also a chance I have some type of parasite – I do have many pets and also live on a hobby farm and take constant care of sheep and goats. What steps do you recommend? My health care is awful and doesn't cover any type of holistic care – and any and all tests I get done by them or a regular doctor are out of pocket. Looking for the best route that will also help save me time and unneccesary money. Thanks so much.
