Dear nhargrove,
Oregano is excellent. Oregano leaf is included in the product Candigone I had mentioned in a previous post to you.
You're smart in realizing that your issues are all connected. You have 7 channels of elimination that must function properly to be healthy. I think you'll enjoy this article http://www.renewlife.com/learn…..-cleansing Your diet is very, very important as well.
You asked about specific products. Here are suggestions from the products I created:
1. RenewLife Norwegian Gold Critical Omega for your omega oils. Look for a blend with more EPA than DHA in the Omega 3, and a variety of the other oils too.
2. RenewLife Digestmore Ultra would be my first suggestion for an enzyme blend. One with a real meal. You can even take it a little bit before you eat.
3. No, I wasn't suggesting Metamucil. The fiber I suggest has both soluble and insoluble parts, and it acts as fertilizer for the probiotic, helps heal your lining, and also helps to sweep your intestine (not like a laxative). RenewLife Triple Fiber is great. FiberSmart is another good choice.
You can find these products at any health food store, most Walgreens, and online in many places.
I hope this helps.

OfflineTo Eric….where do I purchase oil of oregano? a local grocery store
And Brenda…I was just told that I have "gall stones" and possible kidney lesion which they say "look" like it could be a stone. Any remedies for that? Eventhough I bet this all comes from myu gut being out of whack. and I suppose to have an imbillicul hernia. My stomach was aching so bad the other day..I stopped my probiotic for a day and was constipated the next day. So i am back on them….because I believe I have a lot of waste that needs to be eliminated and sitting there. I think this all contributes to my skin, gall bladder and all the above issues they are trying to say I have. I want to go the natural way before getting all these medications.
When you say Omega oil….is this equivalent to Omega 3 fish oil pills?
And I looked everywhere for enzyme pills? where do I get that?
Fiber…something like metamucil? i was scared to buy because it said laxative

OfflineHi, I'm no expert (that's all Brenda), but I would like to chime in about itchy acne… I had a lot of itchy acne – then I went on accutane, which was a god-awful mistake! So don't make that mistake! Overall, my face is very clear now, but the other day I had a few blotches of itchy acne that didn't wanna go away. So I thought, what the hell, and applied some oil of oregano on it. It burned a lot and I ended up washing it off within seconds, but the acne started to fade and for the first time, stopped itching. Since then (less than a week ago) all of my pimples are virtually gone. I apply the oil in the shower after washing my face. You might want to dilute it with water since it is VERY strong, but I will usually apply it and wait a few second after the burning to wash it off. Interesting enough, as much as it burns, it leave NO irritation on your face and kills off that acne (which might actually be fungal based!)…Try it!

Dear nhargrove,
good that you are getting relief from the constipation already. Yes, to add a good fiber, omega oil, and enzymes would be great and yes you can take during the same time as a probiotic and is suggested. That is what i call my HOPE formula – High Fiber, Omega oils, Probiotics and enzymes. Any fiber is considered a prebiotic as it helps the good bacteria thrive within the digestive system.
Probitics can be taken at the same period as antibiotics, and again is highly suggested. Just seperated from the antibiotic by 2 hours. I would be willing to bet with cleaning up your diet and getting your gut balanced your acne will start to clear. You could try doing a couple of rounds of CandiGone -

should I be taking a prebiotic with my probiotics?
I did get the renew life probiotics 15million and my constipation has went away. should I be taking Omega 3, enzymes and a fiber supplement as well for the ultimate results? I wasn't sure if I could take everything combined with the probiotics.
Also, I am taking Retinol A (topical) for my acne as well. And the doctor wanted to give me Doxycycline for the acne as well but it makes my stomach hurt. So I prefer to stay away from it…is there anything natural that I can take that can cleanse me out on the inside to help elimate the acne?
Can probiotics be taken with antibiotics?
Dear nhargrove,
Your children are lucky to have a questioning Mom like you!
Recently I sent out a series of emails to people on my list that described “What to Look for in a Probiotic”. I am pasting that below so you can really make a good choice.
Specifically, I would suggest for you and your son (and perhaps your husband too) the Renew Life Ultimate Flora Adult 15 billion (your son is old enough at 14). I would also suggest Constipation Relief for you, at least initially. You might consider, once your digestion regulates and you no longer need Constipation Relief, possibly taking a higher potency probiotic.
Probiotics can be taken by infants. RenewLife offers a product called FloraBaby which is in a powdered form.
Probiotics are an excellent step in healing your gut – and hopefully offering relief for your acne (which can also be influenced by your hormones and your diet). Probiotics often help regulate bowel movements and they are an important factor in your immune system (fighting off sickness). You learned about them on the PBS special.
It's always a good idea to address diet because good digestion requires eating healthy whole foods (closer to nature), high quality meats, fruits and vegetables. You'll want to do your best to eliminate processed foods, white flours and sugar from your snacks and meals.
Probiotics are actually one part of the H.O.P.E. program that I developed as a foundation for people to create healthy digestive systems. High Fiber. Omega Oils. Probiotics. Enzymes.
Fiber absorbs toxins and acts like fertilizer for probiotics, as well as exercises and sweeps out the intestine. Omega oils lubricate the intestine and decrease inflammation (assist with constipation), and enzymes help your body to digest food more thoroughly (your stomach bloating).
Your health truly does begin in your intestine!
I hope this helps.

What Should You Look For In A Probiotic?
If you watched my Road To Perfect Health television special, you’ll know that probiotics are nothing new. They’ve been around for over 20 years and can now be found in everything from orange juice to yogurt. So what should you look for when choosing an effective probiotic supplement? The four main points to consider that I discussed extensively in my PBS show are as follows:
1. Look for high culture count.
The culture count refers to the total amount of live, friendly bacterial cultures in a single serving. You need a least 15 billion cultures to begin to make an impact on your health—often more depending upon age or health-related concern. The more probiotics the better when it comes to the culture count in probiotic supplements.
2. Check out the number of strains.
There are over 1,000 strains of beneficial bacteria in the gut. A good rule of thumb is that a variety of strains more closely resemble the diversity that naturally exists in the gut. Look for the naturally occurring strains that begin with Ls and Bs, like lactobacilli and bifidobacteria. A good way to remember is that the L strains are good for the little (small) intestine. The B strains are good for the big (large) intestine or colon. It’s also important to get a variety of strains because each person’s body has a different bacterial footprint and utilizes some bacterial strains better than others. Cover all the bases with one supplement for best results.
3. Make sure the capsule is designed for delayed release.
Probiotics must travel through the harsh stomach environment and be delivered to the intestines to be effective. If they never make it through the stomach acid, they won’t do you any good. Delayed-release capsules are engineered to remain intact through the stomach and begin dissolving in the intestine, where they are needed most.
4. Look for potency at time of expiration, not manufacture.
Any probiotic is fresh when manufactured, but very few remain at full strength through their expiration date.
A probiotic supplement, when delivered to the right place, with the right amount of cultures and strains, can help promote digestive health, bowel regularity and strengthen the body’s natural immune defenses. Be sure to read the label, so you’ll know you’re giving your body the probiotic it needs.

OfflineI am 37. I have always had acne problems and now after having a baby 3 months ago I have been experiencing constipation, hemorrhoids that bled and acne that itches on my cheeks and chin. I have stomach bloating a lot and I know my digestive system needs repair, but I have no idea where to begin until watching you on TV this morning. I bought the pro-biotic Align, but I am not sure if it is "delayed release" do you have any suggestions on a pro biotic I should use for my problems. And how young can children take probiotics. I have a newborn and a 14 year old that I want to be healthy as well. My husband has a large cut, and a series of health problems…we want to try the right pro biotic because doctors just always say "take medication" and I hate medication. Like for my constipation they want me to keep taking milk of magnesia. I want to fix the problem! Please HELP
