50 + trying to restore my gut.

Dear BD,
Since you are taking the Senior formula, I'll bet you're at least over 50! I wish I could say that probiotics are all that's needed to restore gut health (for some it seems to be), however most often, there are a number of issues that require at least some supplementation.
To simplify, I've created the H.O.P.E. formula – High fiber, Omega oils, Probiotics and Enzymes (digestive). Since you didn't mention your own issues, I think the best place for you to start might be here http://www.renewlife.com/learn…..s/overview
And YES! Your diet has 80% to do with it! Check out this diet http://blog.brendawatson.com/f…..diet-faqs/. It really seems to be the most helpful – as you eliminate a lot of foods that are most irritating.
Spices can definitely inflame an out of balance gut, wine can increase Candida/fungal/yeast issues and coffee can also irritate. You can eliminate one at a time, for a number of weeks, and see what happens with your symptoms……
Let me know how it goes. I hope this helps!

OfflineHello,
I've heard wonderful comments about your products. In Jan 2012 i started with the ultimate flora senior formula. One month later I feel & see no change. Does my diet have something to do with it? Do spicey foods, wine or coffee have any impact on the probiotics? Maybe I should be taking two per day? An help would be appreciated.
